Aspiration Complete!

For the few wonderful followers of this blog (and any others who may still come through). I did it. My aspiration is complete. Late in the evening on May 25th So Cuttable was actually up and running.

What is So Cuttable? It is my aspiration to hopefully inspiration for many paper crafters. I finally have launched a site where I can sell files that I design for electronic die cutting machines. I have a lot of content to continue to add in the future and tutorial videos to shoot, but that is all the fun stuff. Please stop by and take a look and  follow me at https://socuttable.com/blog/

Funny bits of inspiration

Wow so I am not so good at this keeping updates going on my blog!
But today my daughter and I spent lunch together and I let her have my fortune cookie. She later brought me the fortune. Funny how it was the perfect bit if inspiration. 15 days 10 hours or so until my scheduled goal to launch my new fun wonderful crafty business can't wait!

I think I can I think I can

Today feels like I am pushing a rock up hill. I have been working on the non-creative side of my business aspiration and it takes a lot longer to see results. I know I have made a big design decision for my website and it is a good thing. It does however effect a lot of work I have done previously. So much for doing things in the best order. Live and learn.

Scrapbook Expo = Inspiration Overflow

I have been scrapbooking for almost 17 year now and last weekend I went to my first ever Scrapbook Expo. It turned into an amazing girls day with my Mom,  sister-in-law, niece and daughter. Since it was St. Patricks  Day I was inspired to create something with green in it for each of us to wear. Inspired by a simple yet beautiful flower my daughter made that was on the gift bag my husband used for my Valentines Day gift and the shape of the clover I created paper flower hair clips. To my surprise they not only kept us from getting pinched but received tons of compliments. The show was super fun and filled my head to overflowing with more ideas for my business aspiration. I have so many ideas I have had to make some lists so I don't get off track with my current designs. The exposure was also educational and gave me a huge resource for my website store front that will fit my business perfectly.  Of course I think our top favorite booth was Sparkle N Sprinkle. My first purchase of glitter of course I had to add some glimmer to those flowers when I got home.  I couldn't resist making a few more to place around my office. They just make me smile and keep on working way.  I decided to start a galleries using Flickr and Pinterest.  You can find them on Flickr at  www.flickr.com/photos/Suzannegrippi or follow me on Pinterest at pinterest.com/grippisgirl

Promising Productivity!

So many layout ideas just keep pouring out of my brain!  At the moment my design stage is ahead of my original schedule. This is great because then it is on to more testing and tutorials.  Tutorials are going to need a lot time.  Written tutorials are a must! Video tutorials may have to come later. I have done some testing along the way.  Hanging those tested layouts up in my office has kept me inspired and excited. I have even been able to use some of them for my own scrapbook layout needs. That reminds me I need to start an online project gallery.  Any suggestions? I am considering just pinning them on Pinterest.

2012 is moving along at a faced pace!

What a big year this is for me! I will be turning the big 40!
Funny how my perception of the big 40 is so different, now that it’s at my door step.
All three of my children have milestone birthdays too! Lots to celebrate!
Speaking of celebrating sometimes I love to celebrate the little things.
This past month, I have been working on organizing all my creative designs.
This actually helped me get clear direction of what I want to do as a designer!!!!
I am so excited about my idea for a product line related to scrapbooking, card making, and die-cuts.  The goal is to finish production and launch the product by the last week of May!
